Frank Formica enjoying a slice of toast post-interview (the canteen were out of sausage rolls)
Today's track is a collaboration with the immensely talented and all-round-awesome dude, Geoff Hatt.
Our skit tells the story of Frank Formica, a Rock Legend from the 60s, who has recently embraced New Age thinking, resulting in him writing a far-out book called "Close Your Ears, Open Your Aura". Frank's currently doing some promotion and PR for the book, but he finds the whole process nerve-wracking, especially when interviewers ask him about his, somewhat ill-advised, foray into filmmaking.
A bit about Geoff:
Geoff Hatt is speaking in the third person, he is also a songwriter and entertainer from Belfast who wrote the original musical, "Hippos in the shower" which became a local cult hit and did well at Edinburgh Fringe. Geoff also released an album called, "Ten Year Road" under his unmarried name of Gatt. He is now working on exciting new musical theatre projects and plans a new album early next year. Geoff also runs the open mic night at La Boca restaurant, Belast, every Tuesday night. He has had far too much fun working on tonight's SADFAY track with the marvellous magic Marty!
