Emily DeDakis gave me the idea to make a SADFAY song out of the sound effects, drones and textures I created for Accidental Theatre's play "The Writers' Room" (written by Michael Shannon). The turn out tonight was great (it looked like we had a full house) and the cast were on fire. I am sad that tomorrow will be the last time we perform this great, darkly funny, one act masterpiece: So get your skates on and book yourself a ticket now!
Hopefully the end of this run of The Writers' Room doesn't mean the end of working with the lovely team from Accidental Theatre.
So this piece is a live jam, playing my Writers' Room samples and sounds. Earlier, while sitting in our rather fancy dressing rooms, Dan Leith, Matt Farris, Emily DeDakis and Richard Lavery made some silly noises and let me record them, so I've included that too.
